2013 Pacesetter Campaign Results

7 Pacesetter Organizations Increase Contributions 47%… Raise $23,113 for United Way!

Employees from BBI International, Community Violence Intervention Center, jcpenney, Marco, Inc., State of North Dakota, Steffes Corporation, and Widseth, Smith & Nolting set an outstanding pace for the 2013 fundraising campaign for the United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Area, raising $23,113 under the guidance of Pacesetter coordinator Alan Bye (Alerus Financial) and account executives Ryan Kuntz (C’mon Inn) and Roxanne Burkholder (U.S. Bank).

Seven organizations participated in the Pacesetter Campaign this year. These organizations ran their employee campaigns early, striving for a 20% increase and achieving a 27% increase in employee giving. These generous donations have set the pace for the rest of the community.

United Way is advancing the common good in our community by focusing on Education, Income and Health. To accomplish this United Way raises and distributes funds to participating partner agencies and provides direct services to the local community through its direct service programs such as Undies Sundays, Toys for Tots and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Our $1,075,000 campaign is now under way and the needs in the local area are greater than ever. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
