If you, a friend, or family member are struggling with the cost of housing, fear you may become homeless, or are already homeless, stop by Project Connect 2012 on November 15 from 10:00am – 4:00pm at Hope Church.
Project Connect is a one day event in which agencies, employers and volunteers from the Grand Forks community will come together to offer support and assistance to those in need.
VA Stand Down
The VA Stand Down provides homeless veterans with a variety of services including food, legal and mental health assistance, and job hunting.
A variety of services and resources will be available including:
Labor Ready, SNAP Outreach/Great Plains Food Bank, Northeast Human Service Center, Valley Community Health Center, Experience Works, Grand Forks Housing Authority, St. Joseph’s Social Care, Development Homes, MetroPlains Management, Grand Forks County Social Services, Community Violence Intervention Center and UND Dietetics.
Free bus passes will be available the day of the event at: Northlands Rescue Mission, Red River Valley Community Action, Salvation Army, Northeast Human Service Center, and Grand Forks Housing Authority.
