2012 Pacesetter Campaign Results

9 Pacesetter Organizations Increase Contributions 16%… Raise $41,210 for United Way!

Employees from Brady, Martz & Associates, Bremer Bank, Clear Channel Communications, Grand Forks Housing Authority, Job Service North Dakota, North Dakota Department of Transportation, Scheels Sports, Super Target, and The Village Family Service Center set an outstanding pace for the 2011 fund-raising campaign for the United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks and Area, raising $41,210 under the guidance of Pacesetter coordinator Annie Berge (Altru Health System) and account executives Kari Vien (Alerus Financial), Ryan Kuntz (C’mon Inn) and Jessica Butler (Altru Health System).

Nine organizations participated in the Pacesetter Campaign this year. These organizations ran their employee campaigns early, striving for a 12% increase and achieving a 16% increase in employee giving. Their generous donations have set the pace for the rest of the community.

United Way is advancing the common good in our community by focusing on Education, Income and Health. To accomplish this United Way raises and distributes funds to participating partner agencies and provides direct services to the local community through its direct service programs such as Undies Sundays, Toys for Tots and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.

Our $1,025,000 campaign is now under way and the needs in the local area are greater than ever. Your support is greatly needed and appreciated.
